Inverness Castle Day

Top Ten things to do in Sunny Inverness

Inverness on a sunny day… Yes, we do get sunny days! There are lots of thing to do in Inverness on a sunny day. Here are the top ten things to do…
1) A walking tour… Duh
Come learn about our city’s amazing history, the local heroes and villains, the funny stories, the ghost stories… Tours run every day at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 7pm.
2) Dolphin Spirit
Wildlife is everywhere, and on the Dolphin Spirit you get the opportunity to see all sorts of wildlife. Dolphins, seals, otters, bird and much more! We all want to see wildlife but we also must respect it, the reason I recommend this company is because they abide by the Dolphin Space Program. See our other blog post for more information or visit their website.

3) Inverness Islands
Walking around the islands is a lovely thing to do. Small bridges connect a section of small islands together. These islands are covered in trees, bushes and other beautiful plants. This is a great thing to do with small children, or for a nice gentle walk.
4) Whin park
This is an amazing kids park. Loads of brilliant climbing frames, swings, slides, I wish I was young again to play around in this park.
5) Rosemarky Beach
Rosemarky beach is a little out of the city, you need to drive here or catch the bus… but I must say it is worth it! The beautiful beach is a place to soak in the sea breeze and relax. If you walk right to the bottom you can even explore some caves. The best time to go is in the evening, bring a barbeque and a bottle of wine!
6) In your element
Are you a fun outdoor type of person? Well this is the company for you. Explore their website to discover the wide range of outdoor activities they host.
