Open the doors into the world of Bonnie Prince Charlie, Mary Queen of Scots, Robert the Bruce, Flora McDonald (right), the Earl of Marr (Inverness’s own pirate). From dramatic escapes, ghost stories, to prophecies and the clan system, there is so much to discover and learn.
Our walking tours will introduce you to the stories and fascinating secrets behind the people that formed the city. Our tours are an affordable and fun way to experience Inverness. Our tour guides welcome questions throughout the tour.
Our tours start daily at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm and 7 pm and last approximately one hour. The meeting point is the Steeple at the top of Church Street, next to the SO | COCO cafe. Our Inverness walking tours run from the 1st of June, through to the end of August each year.
Registration is not required, however, booking is recommended, as group sizes are limited to provide a more personal, engaging experience.
